What is the new exam pattern of the RBI Grade B exam. In the last Recruitment Notification of RBI Grade B 2021, RBI had changed the exam pattern of phase 2 and Specially the Paper I and III, which are Economics and Social Issue, Finance and Management.
Previously Paper I and III used to be Objective with carrying 100 marks each (There used to be 35 - 2 Marker Questions and 30 - 1 Marker Questions) but in the new pattern they have introduced answer writing for 50–50 marks in both the paper.
RBI Grade B 2022 : Important Changes
There will be separate time for Objective and Descriptive answer writing.
RBI Grade B 2022 : Pattern of ESI and FM and Descriptive Section
For both Paper I and III, there will be 30 questions and 50 marks for Objective questions (some questions carrying 2 marks each and some carrying 1 mark each).
In case of Descriptive questions, 6 questions will be asked, of which candidates will be required to attempt 4 questions (2 of 15 marks each (with difficulty level) and 2 of 10 marks each).
In case, candidate answers more than 4 questions in descriptive, first 4 shall be evaluated.

RBI Grade B 2022 : Interview and Psychometric Test
Candidate shall be required to undergo Psychometric Test conducted by the Bank before appearing for the Interview. No marks will be allotted for the same and this will not form part of the final selection criteria.
Candidate may opt for interview either in Hindi or English. Interview will be of 75 marks.
Final Selection will be through merit list which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase II examination and interview and grace marks as applicable as per extant rules.
Psychometric Test - Psychometric tests are used by employers to assess a candidate's personal traits, as well as their knowledge and skills. This allows employers to build a personal profile and see if it matches with the company's culture and the role in particular. They also provide an overview of how the person might perform in the workplace
RBI Grade B 2022 : Few Changes in Syllabus of Finance and Management
Syllabus for Phase II is unchanged except introduction of Ethics in Management Part and removal of few topics from Finance Portion, Due to corporate frauds Ethics and Corporate Governance becomes important in the current context and it has been added into syllabus and also FinTech has been added as Topic in Finance. Most of the Numerical topics have been removed from Finance and Syllabus of Management has been made more clear.

RBI Grade B 2022 : Changes in Qualification
These are only major Changes in the exam patter, apart from that 60% in 10th and 12th have been removed. OR Condition has been applied on Graduation and Post Graduation

There are no changes in Phase 1 exam pattern or syllabus.
